Camas-Washougal Chamber of Commerce Scholarships
$1,000 scholarships will be awarded for seniors to attend a 2 or 4 year college, and plan to pursue a business related degree. Must have a 3.0 cum GPA, submit transcripts, essay, and letters of recommendation. Based on leadership, community involvement/extracurricular activities, need, recommendations, and essay. Camas/Washougal Rotary Club Scholarships
Up to 8-$1,000 scholarships will be awarded to Camas and Washougal high school seniors. Two letters of recommendation, transcript and essay required. Essay topic is “Service Above Self.” Deadline: 5/1/12 (received)
Chinese American Citizens Alliance National Essay Contest
Awards from $100 to $1,000 for essay contest. Open to 9th -12th grade students. Contest will be held on March 3rd in Portland. Students must pre-register. Essay topic will be related to Chinese in America, and will be disclosed on the day of the contest. Information and application available in Career Center or online at www.cacaportland.org. Clark College Foundation Scholarships
One application for Clark’s many foundation scholarships for students who will attend Clark College. Transcripts, essay on educational goals, recommendations required. Clark County Fair Association Scholarships
Must be a senior who has participated in 4-H, FFA, or Open Class at the Clark County Fair or a dependent of Clark County Fair Board of Directors, or FSMG employees to be eligible. Based on service, fair activity, academics, future plans, and need. Transcript, letter of recommendation and verification of participation in fair. Deadline: 4/30/12 (received)
Fred G Lee Memorial Scholarship
One $1,000 scholarship (renewable up to 4 years) and two $1,000 scholarships are available to dependents of Chinese American Citizens Alliance (Portland) members. Application includes an application for membership if parent would like to join. Must have a minimum 3.5 cum GPA, be active in school and community activities, and be a US citizen. OSWILG/Harry S Chandler Memorial Scholarship
$1,000 scholarships for students who demonstrate commitment to diversity in their schools, families, and in their community. Two letters of recommendation, transcripts, and essay required. Deadline: 4/13/12 (received)
Order Sons of Italy in America (OSIA) Scholarship
$500 scholarship will be awarded to a senior who is of Italian descent. Must have a 3.0 GPA, and provide transcripts, letters of recommendation and essays. Deadline: 4/1/12
Tiffany Wang Arts Scholarship
Two-$500 scholarships for students in 9th -11th grade to attend a summer arts program. Must be a dependent of a Chinese American Citizens Alliance Portland lodge. Must be at least ¼ Chinese, have demonstrated need, and have a 3.0 GPA. Sample of work required. Information, and application in the Career Center of online at www.cacaportland.org. US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Bruce Lee Scholarship
Must be a senior, have a 3.3 GPA or better, show leadership in extracurricular activities, community involvement, and financial need. Photo, essay, transcripts, tax return, and recommendation required. Application available online at www.uspaacc.com

Vancouver Methodist Foundation Scholarship
$1,000 scholarships will be awarded based on involvement in the community and school activities, long-term goals, need and academic accomplishments. Students do not have to be Methodist to complete. One scholarship is dedicated in memory of Perry Johnigan and is reserved for a minority student. To be considered for this scholarship writ “Johnigan” in the top right hand corner of the application. Washougal Schools Foundation Scholarships
4-$1,000 scholarships will be awarded to Washougal High School seniors to pursue education at a vocational school, 2-year college or 4-year college.
