Washougal’s Computer Science courses teach students essential skills to thrive in a world that is increasingly influenced by technology. In Washougal’s computer science courses, students engage in hands-on, project-based learning to develop new approaches to problem solving by becoming users and creators of computing technology. Topics of study include: Computing Systems, Networks and the Internet, Data and Analysis, Algorithms and Programming, and Impacts of Computing.

As part of an arts community, Washougal students receive music and art education throughout their K-12 school career. They also have the opportunity to participate in first-rate theatrical performances like Clue, The Brothers Grimm, and Once Upon a Mattress. Music and performing arts teaches students cultural appreciation, public presentation skills, and offers creative outlets.

With a robust and engaging Career & Technical Education (CTE) program, Washougal students experience hand-on learning in metalworking, welding, construction, and woodworking. Our CTE program works with local business and industry partners to help fill positions, while closing the skills gap and preparing students for high-demand, high-wage careers.
