The Washougal School Board of Directors is seeking applicants to fill an open board position. The successful applicant serves Director District 5, succeeding Ron Dinius, who resigned from the board in June 2020.
Applicants must be a registered voter and reside within District 5. This appointment will be in place through the end of 2021. The appointed board member may file to run for a four-year term in the November 2021 election if they so choose.
School Board members are responsible for policy and governance of the Washougal School District and for providing direction to the superintendent.

Director District 5 is bounded on the north and west by Washougal River and runs south to about W street.
