Washougal school libraries at Washougal High School, Canyon Creek Middle School, and Jemtegaard Middle Schools are celebrating American Education Week (Nov 15-19) with new materials, courtesy of a grant! The three libraries were award a Bilingual Educator Initiative book grant to purchase new books!

The books will support students in learning about career pathways in education, especially for students from underrepresented backgrounds who might not have considered a profession in education. Displays in each library this week featuring the new career exploration books available to students, which showcase the profession of education.
