Each Week Dr. Mary Templeton sends a “Message from Mary” to staff highlighting the great work happening in Washougal schools, the Washougal Community, and the WSD District Office. Here’s this week’s Message from Mary!

Early Edition

The “Message from Mary” this week is both early and short!  The end of the school year brings much activity and I know we are all busy making sure we get everything done before the SY 2021-22 concludes. I am off to rehearse the National Anthem for the STRIDE run this Saturday and I also need to find my real running shoes so I am ready to run the 5K. Thank you for all you are doing and continue to do for our students and community!  #WashougalRising!

Washougal Schools Foundation Stride Run is this Saturday!

I’ve had fun sharing how I’m getting ready for the WSF STRIDE fun run with you, and to round out Templeton in Training, here’s a video montage!

I hope to see you on Saturday at Fishback Stadium for this great event.  The STRIDE is such a great example of the entire Washougal community coming together to support schools and provide resources to create amazing classroom opportunities.  I’m proud to be a part of this great event with our amazing Washougal Schools Foundation supporters, and hope to see you out there.  Please join us, and many others, in being active, getting outside, and modeling life-long fitness for our students! It’s not too late, the event allows day-of registration as well, visit the STRIDE website to learn about this amazing event.

Enjoy your weekend and hope to see you at the STRIDE run on Saturday!
