Dear Cape Families,
Currently there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in any of our schools in Washougal. In order to ensure our students, families, and staff stay safe and healthy, we are taking measures to reschedule, postpone, or cancel events that bring the community, students, and staff together, starting with those between now and Spring Break.
We are taking this proactive step to balance the guidance from public health officials on keeping schools open with trying to limit events where unnecessary exposure could take place. Please watch for additional guidance from our school and the district regarding other impacts from the spread of this illness.
The following school events are either postponed or cancelled:
5th Grade Band Concert (CCMS) on March 18th, postponed
Science Night on March 19th, postponed
Honor Choir @ Heritage High on March 21st, cancelled
5th Grade field trip to Biz Town on March 24th, cancelled
