Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 Information

The district is providing regular communication during the coronavirus illness, and will provide daily updates to staff and district families to ensure everyone has the most current information available.  Please check your district email to find the most current staff info.

Prevent the spread of illness:

  • Frequent hand washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after using the restroom.  (If soap and water are not available, DOH guidance suggests using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.)
  • You are sick, please at home.
  • Teach students to avoid touching their eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Teach students to cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue, throw the tissue away, and then wash their hands.
  • Food service staff are moving fruit and vegetables from a self-service salad bar into one served by staff to reduce the number of shared surfaces students will touch.
  • Food service staff are also moving condiments and utensils into an area where staff supervise and help distribute them, also to reduce the number of shared surfaces that all students participating in the meal program are touching.

PERS/SERS Retirement Planning Seminars
The PERS/SERS Retirement Planning Seminar Schedule for 2019 is available from the Department of Retirement Systems. If you are a member of the Washington State Retirement Systems (LEOFF, PERS, PSERS, SRS, TRS, WSPRS) and within five years of retirement, we encourage you to review the seminar information overview, and register online at your convenience. You may also register through email at Register@drs.wa.gov or call them at 360-664-7300 or 888-711-6676.

Please note: Due to space limitations, registration for DRS seminars is limited to members of the Washington State Retirement Systems. They are not able to accommodate reservation requests for members of other retirement systems.
