The following are some ideas to contribute to a healthy, active lifestyle for you and your family:

- Limit "screen time" to 2 hours, whether it's TV, computer, or non-active video games
- Your child's heart is a muscle that needs exercise every day
- Walk your child to school
- Play in the park on weekends and after school
