Laura Bolt, Principal 360-954-3800 630 24th Street, Washougal, WA 98671
. Message from the Principal:
The MSP
(Measurement of Student Progress) is our state test for 3rd,
4th and 5th graders. Our teachers and students have been
working hard all year and are ready to successfully demonstrate all the
learning that has taken place. Some things to remember regarding testing: 1) If
a student arrives late they cannot be allowed to go to class if the MSP has already begun. TheyÕll be held out of class until the test is finished. 2) Students are encouraged to get eight hours
of sleep each night, eat breakfast, and arrive on time each day. 3) Parents can help by offering encouragement.
Please call me if you have any questions about the testing process. The testing window is as follows:
Third and fourth grades, 4/30 – 5/18; fifth grades, 4/30 - 6/1. -Your
Principal, Mrs. Bolt

Volunteers ~ We are
grateful to you!....and we will be honoring you this
year at a Volunteer Appreciation
Breakfast on May 23rd
at 7:45-8:45 AM in the cafeteria . More details will be sent home along with an
invitation to attend. Our school community thrives on the energy and help we
receive from our business partners, adult classroom helpers, booster members,
community volunteers and involved family members. This breakfast will be our
chance to say, ÒThank you!Ó in
person.
Meal charges: Recently a bright pink paper was sent home with all
children regarding meal charges. ÒMeal chargeÓ refers to the request to be
given an ÒIOUÓ from our cafeteria. This will no longer be allowed. Students
receiving free lunches and students who have sufficient money in their accounts
are not affected. Breakfast and lunch prices have not changed.
