Student Learning Plans

School districts are required to develop learning plans for students who do not meet standards on the Washington Measure of Student Progress (MSP) Test. The purpose of the Student Learning Plans is to monitor and plan for each student's continuous progress in academic achievement.

In Washougal School District, Student Learning Plans are developed in the fall for students in grades 4 through 8 who do not pass the spring Reading, Writing, and/or Mathematics MSP at the grade levels where those assessments are administered. At the High School Level, students who do not pass the Writing and/or Math assessment and/or who are credit deficient or have excessive absences will have plans developed for them.

Plans are kept on file at the school and will be shared with the parent at conference time or by parent request. For more information, please contact the student's teacher or the school principal.
