The mission of the WHS
Couseling and Career Center is to design, implement, and maintain programs
that align with the educational philosophies of WHS and the
Washougal School District. These programs help every student develop
competencies in academic achievement, personal and social development,
and college and career planning.

UPCOMING EVENTS/REMINDERS & INFORMATION
Thursday, Sept 24 during Panther time PSAT Informational Meeting:
All sophomores and interested freshmen and junior students that want to take the PSAT will be meeting in the Auditorium to get information on the PSAT and receive a study booklet. Ninth grade students that have qualified for the College Bound Scholarship can take the PSAT for free. Eleventh graders that want to take the PSAT can pay their $15 registration fee at the ASB window and bring their receipt to the Counseling Center to get signed up and pick up a study booklet.
The PSAT test date is Wednesday, Oct 14.
Tuesday, September 29 @ 6:00 p.m will be Senior Student and Information Night in the Auditorium. All senior students and their parents are encouraged to attend this event. Topics include Jostens (graduation announcements/cap& gown), detailed Senior timeline, Senior Paper/Project, general information about post-high school options (college, military, trade, etc) and more. The counselors look forward to seeing you there.
