Intro to Weights
Weights II
Athletic Weight Lifting (zero period)
Women’s Weights/Aerobics
Racket/Court Games

All PE courses will include instruction in areas such as strategy, equipment care, safety, scoring procedures, and fitness benefits.  Students are expected to take part in written exams covering these areas, as well as skills tests to indicate proficiency levels in the activity.  Students who sign up for a course will be required to meet the expectations set forth for those activities and participate actively to the best of their ability.  All classes will include daily fitness and cardiovascular activity.  This will help every student reach a goal of continual strenuous activity for twenty minutes.

PE 9 classes will have a special focus on fitness, as well as learning the rules of various games that will be played in upper level classes. PE 9 is mandatory for all Freshman to pass in order to take an upper level PE class.  We in the Physical Education department feel that PE 9 also sets the foundation for all of our other courses
