Dear Parents:

Welcome to Washougal High School!

We are pleased that you have taken the time to visit the Washougal High School website. Our hope is that you find our website to be user-friendly, and after your visit, you will have a good idea of all we have to offer.

Washougal High School’s population is consistently around eight hundred fifty students. We have ninety dedicated staff members at Washougal HS who carry out our mission and beliefs about education. Our fifty-four certificated staff members share the same desire to positively impact our students on a daily basis. The teachers work and plan together in departmental teams on a regular basis. In addition, our thirty-six classified staff members provide critical support in a variety of roles throughout the school.
At Washougal HS we desire to have family and community involvement throughout all of our programs. We realize the benefits to having strong partnerships with our families and the Washougal Community. We believe the stronger our partnerships the greater the benefit for our students.

Washougal High School Mission Statement

Our mission is to engage and challenge each student intellectually and to provide the knowledge and skills needed to become productive members of our global community.

Washougal High School Vision Statement

The WHS community will work together in an environment founded on respect, effective communication and accountability to develop holistically healthy and responsible life-long learners who are equipped to achieve their post-high school goals and be productive members of our global community.
