Hello Cape Families,

Due to continued poor air quality in the area and the need to circulate outside air into our buildings for HVAC related to COVID-19 protocols, our school buildings, and all in-person activities including child care and meal takeout is canceled on Thursday, September 17.

Remote learning for students and staff will continue as it has since the start of this school year.  We hope to be able to open on Friday for take-out meals and childcare, assuming conditions improve.

Apologies for the challenge this causes as we work to keep students and staff safe.

We realize that the cancelation of our takeout meal service may pose a hardship for some of you. We are very grateful to our local business owners and community members that have offered to fill the gap:

Taberna NW Deli in downtown Washougal is offering PB&J or grilled cheese with ham or turkey. https://www.facebook.com/TabernaNW

Natalia’s Cafe in downtown Camas will serve student lunch free of charge from 11-2 daily until we can resume our takeout meal service. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=645610916361200

Thank you! We appreciate your generous support in helping our students thrive.
If you are a local business owner and offering a similar service, please let us know and we’ll help get word out.

We are hoping for rain and improved air quality conditions by tomorrow (Friday). Please check back for updates.
