WHS Students presenting at JMS Career Day
Students at Jemtegaard Middle School peeked into possible futures at their annual Career Fair. New this year were Washougal High School Career and Technical Education students presenting information to eighth graders about classes available to them including culinary arts, welding and American Sign Language.
“Our eighth graders have attended the career fair when they were in 6th and 7th grades and have seen many career presentations,” said JMS principal, David Cooke. “This new feature of having students exposed to WHS CTE classes is a great way to help prepare them for high school and the exciting career pathways available to them.”
