Youth Summer Camps

YOUTH SUMMER CAMPS

QUICK START SPORTS

QuickStart Sports are full of fundamental basic learning of the game & fun in a group environment. QuickStart Sports offers after school sports year round (Fall, Winter, Spring) & summer camps. Pick a half day camp or full day camp – campers who choose full day will be supervised by QuickStart staff from 12:00 – 1:00 PM for lunch until the next camp begins!

Cost: Half Day $99 / Full Day $188

Classes may be cancelled due to lack of enrollment.

Construction Summer Camp

July 13-16 – Join SWCA this summer in partnership with the Washougal School District for our Construction Summer Camp and get the chance to learn how to use tools, and build! For students ages 12-14.

Our Construction Summer Camp will consist of 4 days of learning and fun. Lunch will be provided each day. Student drop off at 8:45 AM, camp runs from 9 AM to 2 PM. At Washougal High School, cost is $99 per participating student. Financial assistant opportunities are available for qualifying students.

US Tennis Camps at WHS

US Tennis is hosting Summer Tennis Camps at WHS, and they are the perfect way for kids to stay active, make friends, and have fun during the summer.
Using age-appropriate equipment and grouping players by age and ability, our camps ensure everyone progresses at their own pace. Whether learning the game for the first time or refining techniques, participants enjoy a fun, supportive atmosphere that promotes healthy lifestyles, fosters social connections and inspires a lifelong love of tennis.
Camps start July 13 for students ages 6 to 12.

Before / After School Programs

RIGHT AT SCHOOL

Before/After School Care

We partner with Right at School to offer before and after school childcare and enrichment opportunities. Right at School has a developed curriculum that includes academics, social, and emotional learning.

The program will also provide time for students to work on homework, allowing families to focus on family time at the end of the day.

The Right at School is housed on the Columbia River Gorge Elementary School and Gause Elementary School campus.

Please note that Right At School is not a Washougal School District program, and operates independently. The program is licensed for students age 5 and up. Parents must register with Right At School using the information on their website to enroll in this opportunity.

Please register for classes early! Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met 5 working days prior to start of class. Avoid disappointment and register early.

Pre-registration including payment is required for all classes. Please do not send registrations and/or payments to your child’s school. Schools can not accept them.

If Washougal School District schools are closed due to inclement weather or an emergency, all Community Education Classes and public use of facilities are cancelled.
