Definition of Terms

In-District Boundary (IBE): students living in Washougal School District requesting to attend another school within the district (i.e. Gause to Hathaway).

Out–of-District Boundary (Choice Transfer): students living outside Washougal School District requesting to attend a school in the Washougal School District (i.e. Camas SD to Washougal SD) or vice-versa.

Starting this spring, students on a current In-District Boundary Exception in grades K-4 and grades 6-7 do NOT need to fill out or renew their boundary exception.  New IDBE are needed for Transition to Kindergarten students and fifth grade students if they would like to attend a different school than their boundary school. Any new boundary exception requests should use the form below.
