The Washougal School Board of Directors has approved the 2019-2020 school year calendar.
Parents should note that the school year will start BEFORE Labor Day and plan accordingly. Also, Spring Break in 2020 will be split between March and April to align with the Spring Break used by other Clark County schools, which will help students and families who attend and/or work in more than one district.
The prior to September 1 start date allows for more of the instructional time in classrooms prior to state mandated assessments. It also provides an earlier release for students in June.
Additional dates like WHS Graduation, semester breaks, and other key dates will be added once they are set.
