Unless otherwise noted, board meetings will be held in-person in the District Board Room at 4855 Evergreen Way, and the district will continue to provide remote access via zoom webinar. Please click ‘link to agenda’ above for details on how to participate in the online meeting.
Public Comment Process:
The board recognizes the value of public comment on educational issues and the importance of involving members of the public in its meetings. In order to permit fair and orderly expression of public comment, the board business meeting agenda will provide a period during the meeting when visitors may address the board on any topic within the scope of the board’s responsibility. RCW 42.30.240
Public comment at regular business meetings will be available to both in-person and zoom attendees. Sign up cards for in-person attendees will be available prior to the start of the meeting. Zoom attendees may sign up by emailing kori.kelly@washougalsd.org by 3:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Members of the public can also provide written comments by emailing them to kori.kelly@washougalsd.org no later than 3:00 p.m. on the day of the board meeting.
Persons who would like interpretation services or accommodations for a disability in order to attend a Board meeting should contact the Superintendent’s Office at 360-954-3014, before 2:00 p.m., at least three working days before the meeting to ensure that the District has sufficient time to arrange services or accommodations.
Members of the public who would have difficulty attending a public meeting of the board by reason of disability, limited mobility, or for any other reason that makes physical attendance difficult may request to provide oral comments during the citizen comments time via Zoom.
